      Some blooms

Some blooms from the last few days. Forgot some names on a few photos but you probably know what they are. The 2nd to last trop is my Tina x Colorata hybrid. Nothing fancy but solid.

A few more from today. This yellow tropical is a giant. It only gets 6 hours sun a day max and the water is freezing but it keeps getting bigger. 3rd day flower is 7- 8 inches. Pads are 14 inches. All the "new seedlings" in this thread are different plants and they are 1st blooms.

I really like coloration/shading of the 2nd from the top seedling in you're first post! And that is a huge yellow flower! Is you're water always that cold even this time of year?

Senior Red looks very choice. Reminds me of Holy Fire a bit.

Thank you Biggie it has a red stigma which doesn't happen too often also. It will be fun to see the next 8 weeks how these develop there are a few good ones. My water depends on night temps and they have been averaging 55-60 all summer which keeps it cold. I heat the smallest of my 3 ponds with aquarium heaters so i can start trops in it but they can't stay it's too small for more than 2. I have 1 more pond at my mother- in-law's that gets full sun so it stays warmer than my others.

There are too many similar pinks on the market, but your seedling is nice, especially the bright sepals and lighter inner petals.

Senior Red is a knockout. What size lotus is it?

Thanks it's not bad. Senior Red is medium size. I think Super Excellence is the best i've grown i prefer it over Senior Red. A few more from today.

You're doing well to get tropicals to bloom at that water temp.

Thanks minnowman it's a tribute to certain plants not all flourish at these temps.
