      My new pond, dream comes true

      Hi KP.
      After three months of hardworking my pond finally up and running. Modified from my rotten three years old pond. 8x8x3 aprox 1500 gals, with 250 gals SC linked to 3" aerated BD, diy pre-filter homedepot bucked, to 1/10 hp pump (207w), pond master air pump 27lpm, 36w jebao uv lights, to my aquaponic plants, three 55gals barrels. Any advices or comments will gladly appreciate. Pardon the little hand, that my 2 years old son

      Looks like a great redo! I think your son is just double checking measurements...

      Let it run for a few months and see how it does... seems like the best method to test and see how
      things work and what might need tweaking.

      You're right, that is my son asking how tall he is with the tape measure and then he audited my work. There is alway things for improvements I'm sure.. thanks

      Been two months..update pics

      I came up with a new gold pan sieve for my prefilter bucket...could screen 300microns...just have to rinse the Matt and spray the pan once a day..

      Fruit harvest

      Every week I pumped 200 gals water from the SC...the fruit trees earned the koi wastes...delicious fruit from koi waste..lol..I don't know if my koi grew an inches but for sure there is couple inches of sediments...

      THANH LONG is the vietnamese name for the fruit...it is a family of the cactus..inside sorta like kiwi but white with black seeds...that's how u planted it...a post in the ground and wooden platform on top...fruits produce more when the branches drop from top to lower level..

      For some reasons the fruits is sweeter this year..I guess due to over natural fertilizer
