      Can someone please tell me what this is???

      I found it in my sieve and was curious as to what type of waterbug this is? I'm assuming it can't/won't harm my fish if there are others?

      Well I'll go ahead and dump out of my yard then. Luckily my fish are large enough. Do they breed fast and should I treat the pond somehow?

      be careful, they will attack you... not a joke. apparently it is one of the most painful insect bites. in India they are referred to as Toe-Biters.

      Thanks...I saw that. He's now swimming in the creek behind my house and since we've had a decent amount of rain today, it's a river now and hopefully won't be back.

      they can fly. They mostly fly at night toward lights.
