There are growing and changing daily. About 9 weeks old now most are 2" + inches the one that was started indoors are about 1" So they do better growing outside for sure.

Looks like lots of fun!
What sort of setup do you have for these little guys it looks awesome!
how old are they ?
I like pic 6. Congrats!
Just a 150 gal stock tank with homemade filter and small shower filter. I have it set up so they HAVE TO swim, keeps them hungry and strong...I have increased current as they could handle it. They can feed well with all filters running but I like to turn it off if I'm going to sit with them. I feed at least 5- 8 times per day. I don't always get that many feedings in but most days I do. The few rocks I have is just some resting spots they do get a work out in this tank......
pulled this little guy today for a snap shot. He was a tad shy so this was the best I could get. I wish his color was complete on the one side but oh well I think he is cute anyways.
He/Its still young maybe the color will consolidate a bit more and complete the side?
Waow Ki Kumonryu.. what were the parents?
I was thinking more like Ki Shusui instead of kumonryu?
I like em! I would be happy to watch them grow in my pond
It is exciting experiment for sure with this pair. I am going to let them grow a bit more and make my selection I am only going to keep 2, I will repeat the breeding I think.
Here are a few of the peanuts and a few of the pigs and the one only scaled I got out of the whole batch. Think your right on the Ki they seem to be getting deeper orange everyday will the go red I wonder? Sorry for the glare not the best pics of the day but still you can see them ok.
OH looks like I have two that are scaled.
