      Robin hood Hybrid Musk 1927

This is an old rose that I have had for years. Its located at the back of the property in my old veggie garden that is almost all shade now. Its never taken care of at all no fertilizer or spray nothing. When my neighbor had it is was well taken care of. Sometimes each stem would have over 100 blooms in a spray. You should really get one of them.

Does it bloom all summer Gary or is a single big bloom in the spring and then just rare isolated blooms after that?
I used to have a lovely smelling climber that was a similar color until my clueless neighbor got it with herbicide. I loved that plant but it only gave me a big bloom flush in the spring, then I had to wait an whole year before seeing it again.

It blooms all summer but not in such profusion. You probably had one of the Old Climbing Blazes when they first came on the scene they only bloomed once now they are a repeat.

Its beatiful Gary. I gave up on roses up here because they always die off to the graft. Oddly enough my minis don,t seem to do that. I am guessing they don,t graft them.

I bet it has a wonderful scent too. I have nothing but old roses. So much more dependable and better scented than any others.

most of my old roses are on their own roots from cuttings Actually unless the Knockout roses are grafted and some are not, I dont have any grafted roses on my place. Your minis most likely are own their on roots too,
