Congrats to all the winners.
Way to go, Gloria!!
Not sure if we ran into any other Koipheners, but Norman (see avatar) wanted me to pass on that he really enjoyed meeting everyone, even Flo (the wire-haired dachshund?) who he felt was a bit snippy (but only with Norman)! And a special thank you to Russell who managed to resist temptation and not resell our new Goshki, and even carried both of the girls to the car for us which I greatly appreciated since the Vicodin was starting to wear off! I had planned on taking some pictures to share, but a day and a half, even for relatively minor surgery (sinuses), may not have been quite enough recuperation time-and I ran out of energy.
Thanks so much for the congratulations. It was a very fun experience. For future koi show-ers, practice helps and watching how people do it helps more, but having a professional like Russ Peters help you is the best! Thanks, Russ!!!
I have some pictures of the champions and the folks that were there. I will also post the awards sheets unless someone else does it.
My fish are the ones in the picture with the pole across the bottom of the picture and there is another picture of them in there somewhere. I am totally befuddled as to why some of the pictures are oriented sideways. If any body can turn them right side up I would appreciate it!

Gloria you are very welcome. It was nice spending some time with you and Russ. I am amazed at what you fit into your car.
I would like to mention that Gloria also won Best in Size 4 with her Hosokai Shiro Utsuri and Best in Size 5 with her Isa Showa. It was quite a showing for the first time.
Thanks so much to all the members of the Greater Louisville Koi and Goldfish Society for having such a wonderful show! Special thanks to Troy Head, President for the help throughout the show and especially for helping us get the fish unloaded and settled in the first night. And most special thanks to Charles and Carolyn Phelps for hosting the show at their home! Thanks for all the great tips and comments from the great judging staff!
Just got home and fish are floating in the QT hope your trip is going well Gloria and Russ. Thanks for the new fish Russell, I hope you went home with only your baggage

Janis and I just got home ourselves, stopped along the way to watch my number two grandson win their tournament baseball game witch rounded out our weekend trip.
I took a few pictures at Louisville and will attach. I was asked to hand out the award for the WWKC again this year as I have done in the past. I want you to know I picked this Asagi before the award for Grand Champion "B" was posted, so I feel I picked well for the award.
Molly once again out did herself with the gifts bestowed to friends and handmade quilts that she donated to the club raffles. What a lady, I am so very glad to call her my dear friend.(and her husband Don, what a guy, couldn't ask for a nicer man. )
