Thank you Gary. If I can't be walking on the beach, then here in my yard is where I want to be.

I love your Kousa Dogwood and Cinnamon Fern Pictures. Nancy do you have a Blue Mouse Ears Hosta? It is a miniature and absolutely beautiful. Look it up sometimes. I bought one and love it.

If this the plant you are asking about, it is Mandevilla. It gows inside to overwinter. Mid April to first of Nov. it hanges from a tree outside.

Beautiful plants and pictures, Nancy! My stella's are blooming now and I have some Four O'Clocks that have started to bloom now that I started from seed.

Sorry Tina I just now saw your question. When I moved here from Ohio, all I had was hard red clay. I noticed that Hosta & Liropie did ok growing in it. So that is what I used until I could get my soil in better shape. I just bought Hosta's that I thought were pretty and were for part sun. That is why I have so many. Some are in bloom now too.

My two 'Dynamite" Red Crape Myrtle Trees. They are about 18 to 20 ft. tall and 10 years old now. One is behind the other. I need to go back outside and get a pic of both trees. They have deep cherry red blooms.
