      Pond in a greenhouse

      Hallo.
Water and koi. Got some help from my son and grandchildren. Just some small things left. Brushes, cutting japmats, air to the MB, the old doors up and plants.

      Pond in a greenhouse

Everything works almost as it should. Have to learn a lot more about minerals, pH and water measurement. Iīll be prepared for the next season. The biggest kois are know using the pond during the winter.

Sorry, haven't been here for a while. It's a tomato root. That's the kind of nitrate eating filter you get in a system like this. This first year was a big try and error year. Next year will be much better I hope. Water chemistry is a tricky business!

Thank you Kevin. I have drained all the chanels during vinter. The airlift and the first sediment chamber are the only things working right now. Good oxygen level, + 6-8 C and healthy Koi. Reading, studying basic aquaponics, water changes, moonshine and growing a beard during our hibernation period in Sweden. Working with the blue prints of a strawberry 4" pipe line, on the southern side of the greenhouse. Three levels, 80 feet of Babylons Hanging Gardens! Fun fun.

Pond and garden in one. You have a very nice set up. . I'd like one someday but I dont have the space.

      Cool Pond in the greenhouse

November. Donīt like november in Sweden. Nice fire, good books, a rack of vine and wait for SPRING. Maybe Iīll bring you some light in the darkness(if itīs like Sweden were you live).
Everything was growing like crazy in the greenhouse, koi and plants. The water was almost perfect the whole summer. Built a strawberry pipe too at the south wall. Send you some pictures.

WoW! Your plants look so nice & healthy! Do you heat the greenhouse? Spending time with your plants & koi in a nice greenhouse would have to make winter less painful. Enjoy.

Thank you all. Took me two years, but that's kind of normal to Koi people and always new ideas. It never ends!
Rebuilding the MB to 200L(52G)of K3 during the winter, a bakki system and an extension of the strawberry pipe to 150 strawberry plants. More koi to grow! Itīs really fantastic to take care of the nutritions from the koi water and turn it into something edible! I've a resting place too, by a stone where I can sit and just watch the koi, feed them and relax. Love that.
Sorry Nancy, but the winter will be kind of harsh, so the koi spend the winter in my root cellar(with floor heating). Every thing is emptied and cleaned out right now. New start in March-April.
Send you pictures from later in the summer in the green house and of my grandchildren, like two princesses, watching, talking and feeding my kois in the garden pond. Nishikigoi is Magic.
