My Homer bucket (the orange home depot bucket I use for mixing dechlorinator, etc) was starting to fall apart and I wanted a new one for both the pond and the qt tank. I found out over the weekend that Firehouse Subs sells their "pickle bucket" with a lid that seals nicely (for storing koi food, perhaps?) for only $2 AND that money is donated for the firefighter's charity. That's quite a savings over the Homer bucket and you are helping out a charity. Great deal!
Just thought I would pass this tidbit on to you all. They said they go through a pickle bucket every 2-3 days, but if you let them know, they will save some for you if you want more than one...I think the HD bucket sells for 5 or 6 dollars so that's quite a saving!
