      Has curled out gills, looks like it might be female looking at the pecs. has a nice shine to the Gin rin but if I'm not mistaken the lines of the Gin rin don't line up real clean. It could be a nice pond fish but I don't think it's a Koi someone would seriously consider showing.

      Other than the gill and shiny, any conformation development in the future. Somehow I see the belly area is bulging.

      I would pass.
      Single color fish rely on size to compete with the presence of their gosanke mates.
      This one, while shiny, has the gill issue, a weak tail, small mouth and looks pigeon breasted. Or maybe it swallowed a baseball

      Good point. I looked back at his pond and there are a bunch of Gosanke in there. I say skip it and aim for a yamabuki or asagi/Shusui to add the color you want without looking bad against the rest of the herd.
