      Davo's Koi Growth & Development

I have keep journal on several on my Koi.. yes I know they are not the best quality Koi, I just want to see how they grow and how the pattern changes and so on.. I just want to share with Koipheners to help grow our knowledge on Koi..

I had this beni Kumonryu for 9 months now and it amazes me with its sumi development.. its is not the best quality Beni Kumonryu but I love it..

this one is from my own breeding Ginrin Goromo vs Kikokuryu.. since it grew into metallic could I called it Sochikubai (metallic Goromo)?
The colour change from poor yellow and now bright orange looks great as the metallic characters thickened.. the Koi is now 8 months old..had slow growth in my breeding pond due to overstocking

I will post more development pictures in this page.. and please share yours too..
      Thank you

So, with "ai" starting to appear possibly, that would make it a Kujaku, no?!

I am not sure about it.. I was told Kujaku should have matsuba or ai in its white pattern.. and this also come out from a Ginrin Goromo mother..
