I use Fujizakura Health diet and Fujiyama Stable diet to mix with my FD food.
In cold water I use Fuyufuji All weather. It is the best I have used for temp below 10*c.

Could it possibly have to do with some ingredients included that are not allowed in to the US?

It's been available in the states for years, Mystic Koi carries it. The ingredients must be very special though, they're not even listed on the manufacturers website.

Okay, thanks guys! It was just an idea/thought. I had heard "of it" but hadn't seen it personally.

Between a couple forums and friends, there is little to no knowledge of this stuff.

Just more overpriced koi food. I used a blend of Kloubec Platinum, Blue Ridge and Blackwater max this year and my fish love it and look great, not much waste either. There is absolutely NO need to spend $8+/lb on koi food. Plenty of quality food available for $2-4 /lb

I've used fujisakura this past fall and spring with good results and minimal waste. Can't tell if its better than some other brands but definitely no complaints. I think it has color enhancers so be careful if you have shiro utsuri.

Myron Kloubec sells the "Kloubec Platinum" you use. If you see him be sure and ask him what he thinks about koi nutrition.

My understanding it should be available again this summer in the US. Mystic koi will be the importer here and is just fine tuning the details with the FDA.
