      My new Wakin pond

Long time no post. But I thought I'd share this with folks who'd appreciate it. I redid my goldfish pond And enlarged it to roughly 900 gallons. Decided to have just Wakins in there. Never had them before. I'm enjoying them as much as my koi. Funny little guys who are very entertaining. I ordered them all from Blackwater Creek. You cannot beat their quality and service, IMO.

So good to see you posting again. Love your Wakin pond. I have a lot of Wakins and Watonai. Most of mine came from Steve in Hawaii. A few Wakins came from Kat in Texas as eggs.

Good to see you posting! Beautiful pond, and it looks so natural. I've often wondered how all your dogs are doing.

The problem I have now is dividing my time between watching the wakins and watching the koi

We lost three over the years and rescued a couple more. We're holding at 6. 7 was our max.

      Nice little Goldie pond

Where do you go to buy from blackwater? From my Internet search I could only find their site that sells wholesale.

You can order directly from them. $199 for 12 predominately red and white with few calico mixed in. That includes overnight FedEx. Very high quality too.

Very nice! I really want to have Wakins eventually, we just can't house them right now. What size pond is needed for Wakins?

About the same size pond for regular goldfish. These get to be about 10" according to Blackwater folks.
