what do you do when overrun with lily plants?

This year I have a bumper crop of lillies started when repotting. Placed an ad on craigs list and sold some, traded some , gave some away and haven't made a dent in my surplus, . What are ways y'all thin yours out? I really hate to throw them out.

I suggest that you send them all to Andrea. She already has so many problems that being buried in lilies might not seem like such a big deal.

Offer in the trade section for sale, trade, or for postage if you are willing to ship. If selling you may have to purchase KP membership.

      Craigslist & eBay.

      Good luck.

I'm sure there would be some here who might be willing to pay for shipping to take them off of your hands. I'd suggest posting in the trader's forum as suggested above with pictures of the lillies you have and maybe even suggest items you'd be willing to trade for.

Like Sue in Texas, mine go on compost pile. Frankly I got tired of some people, year after year, same
people around here wanting lilies, and I knew size of their pond, that no way would they need more
lilies. I keep my same lilies year after year. Selfish of me -- well, so be it !! After all, they are my
      lilies.

I can't trade any more, I'm out of room, so would send for cost of shipping, but I'm afraid that a lot may get composted

There was someone on this forum or on American Ponders by the username of "NanWest" that was looking for plants for postage...but I think she does not use paypal but was willing to pay in advance...

Is there a church or other community center that has a pond that might like to pretty up their place?

I second the others that would take them for shipping costs. Spread the lily love. If not that, reach out to your local club and see if they have some members that want them. Trash and compost are options, but I think of it like culling koi. If someone wants them and it costs you nothing to give them away, then why not instead of putting them down.
