Hi Jim, will your club accept a WWKC friendship award?
I might be there Friday if I get the day off
I will be attending this year, as a wet vendor Goldfish only. Let me know if I can bring any Goldfish special request
See You Soon,
Scott
Hi Cindy,
I would be happy to.
Best

Has anyone ever heard of a place called Koi Unlimited in Maryland?
Will they be attending?
Have they reopened? I went to my first koi show, an MAKC Young Koi Show there back in 1997 or 1998, and shortly thereafter, they went bankrupt. The owner was a dedicated koi person, but apparently not a good business person. I got my first bead filter from them, as well as the Sequence Pump to run it.

Keep your words sweet. You never know when you may have to eat them.

I never knew they had closed, I was at that show. The owner (Bill I believe that was his name) was the one who got me into it while I was attending school in DC. I took the drive on I270 ...It was nice drive. Also the Koi that was struck by lightning was amusing.
All I remember his wife was ill and a lot of his time was devoted to her and because of the move to the new location was maybe the main reason they lost a lot of business.
I also purchased my first bead filter also from them.
I may move back..the wife wants to get back to the east....lol.
But it may look that we''' end up in Lynchburg or Culpepper if we do.
At least there's Koi Club to join...
Our award is on the way
Does it cost anything to attend, how about parking, do they frown on pics being taken.
No cost to attend, plenty of free parking at Meadowlarks, and everyone's taking pics!

Ok so I am off saturday but the 4 1/2 hour drive ...we shall see!
Less than 24 hours away from koi arriving!
I'll be there to help bench the koi.
Looking forward to a great show weekend in Vienna!

Please anybody thats going, post some pics, was all set to go, and they called my wife into work tomorrpw, so now dad gets to stay home with the kids, i thought about bringing them but i dont know which ones i would leave there, the constantly fighting 10 and 12 yr olds or the screaming two yr pld, it would be a tough choice , ohh well
