    Do I win a prize!

    well the plants should...
    Shine5555 sent me some "unnamed" tubers on 4/17(or later)
    matherfish sent me some small water lily tubers on 4/23(or later)
    And today I went outside and....
    Upper left lotus flower
    lower right lily flower

    These were bought to add more interest to the overflow drain field of the koi pond
    that is like 7 weeks from small tuber to flower for the lotus, and 6 weeks for the same thing for the lily.

    It is amazing how fast plants will grow given free roam, warm temps, & sunshine.

    Those are Molly fry. They are in there to eat the mosquitoes.

    I have no idea what a leopardess lily is..It is supposed to be either red Flare or a Red day bloomer... Sometimes the young blooms are not dark red. So I am waiting. Since TS Andrea was overhead the color isn't washed out due to a bright Sun.
