One of my funniest memories was the afternoon happy hour, when Lucas snuck up behind Rudy. Rudy backed up, not knowing Lucas was there and over he went, right into the pond. It was so funny, Lucas looked so scared thinking he was going to get chewed out. Rudy couldn't get out because when he tried to lift himself up and out Lucas was licking his face hoping for forgiveness. All Linda and I could do was laugh. That was a one in a million.
This is such a fun thread. It sure does bring back memories. https://www.koiphen.com/forums/showth...highlight=rudy
Those are the pics I was looking for. Thank you for locating them.

Lord when you build my cabin in the corner of Glory-Land, Please be sure to include a fish pond. Thanks

Rudy sure looked nice in a suit.
I too always enjoyed his stories.
How old was Rudy?

I'm so sad at this news - Rudy used to phone me up for computer help and called me "Sir Stephen" - for a reason that escapes me now. I was lucky enough to have met up with him quite a few times at Gene's pulls and other shows.
I'll miss you Bud !!!
And the women folk, everybody loved him.
God Bless You Rudy. Godspeed.
It was Christmas back in 2010 and we were honored to have Rudy over to share in our family traditions as we had already pretty much made him an honorary Arsovski. My daughter had met Rudy before but my son and his wife would meet him for the first time that night and of course be just as smitten, who couldn't be with that great personality Rudy had! If you think Rudy had a good time....we had a great time! We laughed so much I think we all got ab workouts, who needs a gym membership when you've got Rudy around. It was definitely a night to remember for all of us! "Live Love Laugh" the Arsovski adopted motto and that's definitely what we did that night. Rudy will surely be missed by our family. He's left footprints on our hearts and will never be forgotten.
We love you Rudy.

Here is Rudy's recap of that night:

I am also saddened to read of Rudy's passing.. He will be missed, had fun reading his comments here at koiphen.. God bless us all! Have peace Rudy..
I'm going back and rereading threads, Rudy was the first one to jump in whenever any person or animal was in need. If heaven is all of our dreams come true when we get there, Rudy is wearing some angels out with laughter.
Where will Rudy be buried? Will he go back to Chicago? Does anyone know yet??

A few years ago Rudy offered to take a stray dog I found. The dog, Bear, was about ready to hop a flight to Chicago when I got word that Rudy had become ill so Bear found a home elsewhere. We were both disappointed but in hindsight it was probably for the best. I will never forget Rudy's kind heart. Despite the gruff exterior he was a real softie, especially when it came to animals.
My condolences to Rudy's family and friends. I know he will be missed by so many.
Judy & I met Rudy at the 07 Louisville show. In the very few minutes we talked, it was obvious he was one of the good guys.

Why don't they make mouse flavored cat food?
