Rudy SNIFFED OUT Archivesisis, who was SNIFFING Shipisland.
I am saddened to read of RUDY's passing, (thanks to the posting at Facebook) may he Rest In Peace. I haven't been on Koiphen in approximately three plus years so I was not aware that he was ill.
The one thing that I will always remember RUDY directing a "statement" one evening to me -- was about catching me
"sniffing around Shipisland." I am laughing as I am "writing this" and every time I thought about this "revelation" I would chuckle.
Rudy, Rudy, ah did you "sniff out something 'fishy' [pun intended] that night" ... two years later that "sniffing" culminated in our marriage; we married two years to the day of my first message to and from S.I.!
I recall, one SNOWY night that he was on a return trip to his home and he was STUCK IN ALBANY AIRPORT* and decided he would go out and have a "brewsky" and had "alot to say" about his adventure; he was NOT a happy camper. A very FUNNY camper, but not a happy one!
Then, there were his quotes that were soooooo RUDY!: "Ain't that the cutest little bottle of Jack you ever did see?" ... Kathryn Winstead 10/2007 Fall Harvest
"God is a comedian playing to an audience too afraid to laugh."-- Voltaire
"It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity and make it work for you."-- Frank Zappa
"There is love of course. And then there's life, its enemy." ... Jean Anouilh
May he be a BIG FISH in THE BIG POND in the sky as he was a mighty fine, all around nice guy here on earth. There were nights that he, S.I. and I had alot of cyberfun on Koiphen. (It was funny that any time we had a major snowstorm up in New York, rest assured, he would be on Koiphen that evening, spewing his wit!!!!!!
All happy memories. God bless our RUDY!

Reason: More thinking, and wanting to include this...
