Your orchids are beautiful. I must have 15 plants but mine bloom in February here. One of mine still has flowers on it from this year and two are reblooming. I killed a lot of them before I found the best spot.
I found 6 beautiful African Orchid pots the other day. I re-potted three of mine that are out of bloom. I also bought three small orchids for my other 3 pots. They will grow into the pots fairly fast. I will not re-pot them until they are out of bloom. I use Orchid Moss and Orchid Plant Food Spikes.
Here are some pics that I had to take with the plants sitting in my chair. I keep them in a window but it was to bright to get pics there.
Very Pretty.

Keep your words sweet. You never know when you may have to eat them.

Thanks Rich. I am out of matching pots now so I will not buy any more orchids for as long as these live. I will have 6 in matching pots but number seven orchid is way to big to re-pot in this size pot. That is why I bought small ones that will grow big while in the pot. I have looked & looked for a bigger orchid pot with holes and could not find one in my price range. But I will keep looking.
I can't get my orchids to grow at this house. The flowers last a few weeks, fall off and the plants start looking awful. I moved them to the greenhouse and it's helped a little but not much.
I'm going to try repotting them in moss. They're in the bark that they came with.
Any suggestions on how to grow them would be awesome. I had them under a big Oak Tree at the other house and they bloomed and rebloomed every year.

Hi Sandy.
I only grow mine in moss.
They are about 12 to 18 inches from a southeast window.
They grow right beside my African Violets.
I have learned they would rather be a little dry than to be to wet. The pots need to drain well.
Once a month I wipe their leaves off with a damp soft cloth to remove any dust.
As long as the stem they bloomed on is green, I leave it alone. If it has turned brown, I cut it off.
Once a week I use a spray bottle of warm water and spray the aerial roots.
When they need to be watered, I use room temperature water that has been sitting out over 24 hours or more, to reduce the chlorine.
I never re-pot when they are in bloom.
These are the things that I do and mine seem to live long & bloom and re-bloom at times.
Good luck with your Orchids. Love to see some pics of them sometime.
Thanks, Nancy.
They're ugly right now. I'm going to try repotting them in moss. They're in solid plastic pots from the grower so I'll try to find pots with holes.
