      My goldfish setup:

Thought I would share some pictures of the goldfish setup:

I moved some smaller koi and other fish out of the tanks. Then I added three large plecostomus to do the cleaning. Then added some of the goldies. 75gallon tanks. Wet/dry trickle filter used as the single filtration device for all three tanks. Here's the first one.

In China this is referred to as a Purple Butterfly. I kind of like "chocolate".

Kirin S/T Ryukin. Although he appears to be metallic, I think a more accurate description would be nacreous.

S/T White and Red Ryukin: Although this is not a very good picture it does provide an example of what the Chinese are working to produce. Generally the european judges do not seem to like these as much because of the powerful hump, but I, for one, think it is very nice. I have heard this referred to as a 12 point which indicates the number of red areas on the white.

Here's my White and Red Oranda. This goldie has the type of wen which eventually covers the eyes. I'll be sedating her and cleaning up the eye areas shortly. Her first three dorsal rays were broken in shipment and have since been removed. If I did my surgery correctly they should growout without scarring, and it will be impossible to see any imperfection.

Gotta show off again. Here's my Grand Champion Black Oranda as pictured in one of the show tanks in Orlando. I took this picture shortly before the judging began.

No collection is complete without Ranchus. Here's a Red and White Crystal along with a Green or Purple variety. Too young to tell for sure. Lousy picture. I'll see if I can find a better one.

Another Red and White Ryukin standard variety. Male. Take a look at the frontal view of the other standard Ryukin. See the pale white spots? Male
