      Airlift Pond Circulator- Who has tried?

      Will this work? Is there a better way of doing?
      Airlift Pond Circulator

      Objectives:
      -Energy efficient
      -Minimal maintenance and high reliability
      -Provide aeration to pond water
      -Provide mid water to surface circulation across pond
      -Don’t stir up bottom waste
      -Minimal interference with bottom pond returns

      Yes, it will work.

      I assume that you also plan on having the traditional filtration components (BD, skimmer, filters, etc).

      Yes all of the above. This is for additional water movement and aeration without the use of water pumps. Possibly decreasing the size of the water pumps. Plus makes a good emergency system to run with a very small generator.

      Have you seen other links where details have been worked out? I found a bunch of air lifts but none are hooked up to long piping and most are internal to the pond.
