Yes. The babies rabbits will be ready to go on Friday. They are just now old enough.

Sometimes I feel as though I can't win for losing! I hope you understand that expression. I sold the last of the four baby bunnies Saturday. They were cute, but I have too many rabbits. When I went out Saturday morning to meet the people who were getting the last bunny, I noticed one of the pens was empty. The female rabbit in there had managed to get over the fence, and yes, you guessed it. She was in with a male. Just when I sell the babies, they are making more!

On a happier note, , look what I found sprouting in one of the gh ponds today! If you guessed Euryale Ferox, The Gorgon, you are right!

Isn't there a song about "tiptoeing through the bunnies" or is that "through the tulips?" I do not have that many rabbits, but I do have too many.
I do like the pics, though. Thanks!

You don't have that many yet! By the end of summer you will have them everywhere, that is if you don't get them to stop climbing there fences.LOL

Two beautiful days in a row! I spent today packing plants for shipping, as well as cleaning up some of the ponds and plants! Yesterday I had to work, but did get some of the water hyacinth moved into the big outdoor pond. I will be working out of town for a couple of weeks, so not sure what the temps will do. The weather report says it will be good for the first week, so hoping for a good second week. They hyacinth will be a place for the koi to spawn if they start before I return.
The frogs and toads are singing away! Can you see the two toads in the pic?
I also stopped by a local nursery and they gave me some pots for me to repot some of the plants. I got different sizes for the different plant needs. I usually use pots without holes, but since these were FREE. I thought I could put newspaper in the bottom and plug the holes, or maybe put a plastic bag in the pot. Either way is cheaper than buying pots! I got to pic the pots I wanted out of two huge piles, so I went for the colorful ones! Figured the pots in the tubs would look more festive.

I've lined the bottoms of pots with landscape cloth. Stands up nice.

We only have cottontail bunnies, and they like to eat my hens and chicks.

Being out of town for weeks in a row, I can only imagine the scenario in the greenhouse. My help did get all of the potted land plants, including the Kimberly ferns, out of the greenhouse as it is getting so hot in there. My son is taking most of the hyacinths out and putting them into the large pond to give the koi something to spawn on, as it will soon be spawning time. I will be home briefly on Saturday and Sunday, and expect to be very busy. Happy ponding everyone!

I was home all day Saturday!! It was raining and storming all day, but I was able to accomplish some things in the gh. I looked at the stored tropical water lily corms and they were all sprouting so I put them in water and into the ponds. They will be growing pretty good by the time I get home in three weeks. The lilies in pots in the gh are starting to grow well and definitely ready to be moved to the outside ponds. I noticed several plants with buds. So much to do, so long before I can do it.

P.S. Anyone wanting a Rhonda Kay tropical lily let me know. Looks like I will have plenty. $5 each plus $5 shipping for up to 5 lilies, while the plants are still small. This offer lasts until May 18th or until sold out.
