Haha well the pleco is between 14-16' long. I got him about 2 days before I got the butterfly koi. I'm feeding him algea tabs, but if yall have any other suggestions to keep him full let me know! I just don't see him being fast enough to catch the butterfly's but who knows haha. What do you guys suggest feeding 1-4 inch butterfly's. The pellets I have for my large Koi I believe is to large, they seam to nibble on the algea wavers I put in for the Pleco...but I really want to get food they will go nuts over. Thanks yall!

Also, I'm going to be putting in a dehumidifier as well as It will be easy to put in a fan that will suck the humidity out of the room to outside. Waiting on the filter to be delivered too get all that set up. Cant wait!

Yes, mshill90 is right, plecos can and do attach themselves to koi or goldfish if they can catch them. Can cause an initial wound that will become infected. Usually, it's an injured or slow moving fish, though. There have been several threads about bigger koi eating smaller fish. I guess it just depends on the koi, some are nurturers, some are sharks. just like in the human world.

Be careful of different types of Plecostomus. I used to collect them in college until a family member fed them an entire jar of algae while I was on vacation. Unfortunate. Some are just beautiful but others are very territorial and have barbed balls they use to ward off other fish. I

      Mango plecostomus

      Zebra pleco

      Gold nugget pleco

      Pseudcanthacus lepoardus

This is an example of ancistrus type. The males have large barbed balls under their gill plates and they thrash about with them to move other fish.

Wow, those are awesome pleco's. I had one in an outside tank/fountain in Phoenix for 3 years and he finally jumped
      out last year at 12"
