Have you tried growing Mojito in your stream?

I have someone coming tomorrow to help me bring mine inside. I am going too have too make some hard choices. I am going oo bring all of the alocasia inside. I dont know if I will bring any inside the house this year. I am bring in some of the colocasia that are in pots inside but some of the pots are staying outside. I am going too try and dig them up and cut them back also, the bananas will come inside and my snake plants will all come in. My huge fern and the gingers will come in also. not sure how much I can get in the back porch I have rolled all of the bigger plants out of the kiddie pools trying too dry them out somewhat. If we had not have gotten that 2 inch rain Sunday it would have been fine. some of the plants are huge and I guess I am going too have too cut off their leaves as much as I hate too. the Borneos and the Portie are way taller than I am maybe 9 foot or more.

This is always a sad time of the year for me.

The ones you dig up and cut back, how do you store them?

I am not sure I will even have anything too bring on the back porch. My help showed up around 1100 this morning and he is a really small man and his son was supposed too come with him and had too work. I was in no shape too help but I had tried earlier too bring one of my large alocasia inside the house but could not get it up the steps. He helped with that and said he would be back around 4 this evening. /well its 530 now and there is no way 2 people can bring 50 pots inside plus did up my banana plants and 3 huge clumps pf taro in the stream. I hate this **** town with just a bunch of lazy people that never want too work. My Indians that do my lawn got hurt last week so they cant help me. None of the kids around here want too work. So I guess they will freeze if we get a hard frost

Think back a few months ago Gary . You were pouring cinnamon on some bulbs .
Is that all you have to do ?

Gary, I am sorry the man didn't come back in time to get your plants inside tonight. I hope it doesn't frost. I thought we would get frost tonight but our weather person said no frost. We are going down to 40*!!!

Great news. My sisters neighbors son moved all of my plants inside. I did leave some really nice colocasia and some odds and ends outside. I want too try and get a bunch of the Maui gold brought inside and there are some really nice Mojito in the stream too.I need to cut back and bring inside. A few of the red banana plants are still out but I have no space at all left. I got most of everything I wanted too keep brought inside though. Right now I am flying high on pain killers and muscle relaxers.

      Gary,

I see a hoop frame over some of your plants. Is it over your pond?
Could you cover the frame in the winter with clear plastic and leave some of your plants out there.
I have a hoop frame over my pond. Sun heats water, keeps it warmer in greenhouse at night. My stream bed plants do not even loose their leaves in the winter.
