Well I let a little White Japanese Black tailed hen set on 8 eggs. Another hen got on the nest and they fought over the eggs the whole time. Three nights ago 4 vanished I could find no trace of them it happened at night and nothing can get into the coup. The next night 2 more disappeared well yesterday I was going too throw them out I figured they were bad but one was cheeping so this morning I put her and her one egg in a new coup by herself. I took the baby too the house. I went too take the bay back outside and she was off the nest. She got back on when I put the chick in the nest and settled down too be a mama. I got my keys and billfold and went too by her some babies. I came back after getting them and when I opened the nest box she attacked my. She has always been docile but she heard those babies peeping and thought I was hurting them and she came after me with both feet wings and beak. she settled on the nest as soon as she saw the babies she was so happy. So now she has 9 babies. probably too many for her but she dont think so. I think the Stpehen Rooster is sterile. Not a one of the babies that hatched in the incubator have a top knot.lol

I am getting antsy. Its so close too bringing the big pot outside. most of the plants look bad but they will pull out if it and give them some sunshine, water and some doses of fertilizer and they will spring forth. just 1 more week and then I will start taking them out.

got outside and started working on cutting pipes and draining the settlement tank. I am going too have too order 1 strainer and one other part for my skimmer pump. Not worried about it yet though got too get the stream going. The skimmer pump goes too the stream also but I never could get it running last year and I let the leaf strainer freeze and split. Should have the stream going tomorrow or wednesday.

Another cold night here in Clarksville...and then 80's for two days. I have plants on the porch that need to go in the
ground, but holding off for another day. I had to replace all of the landscaping in the front of my house. I went for
Weigela after they removed all of my hedges. Those roots had been there for 35 years. My SIL and GSIL were digging for
hours I hope they take. It is a work in progress. Just hope the winter weather is gone after tonite.

well my butt is dragging. I got the main pump going and the stream is running great doing a water change but not enough too change the pea soup. I need a complete water change but that aint happening any time soon. I got some Maui Gold Colocasia and Black Beauty and some I dont know what are they might get moved. I also have 4 red star impatiens in with them I got a 24 inch wire window box and used coconut fibre too hold in the pea gravel and sand. Now the pond needs too fill up and the water needs to clear some a whole lot. I will plant more impatiens tomorrow. So pond season of 2018 is about up and running, I hope it gets looking better fast.lol I have got too spray roundup tomorrow.

Good idea to use a window box. I haven't even bought any Impatiens yet. On our local weather, they said to hold off on planting until the 17th this year. So I guess i will.
      Everything is looking good.

Well it got 86 here today. It was a beautiful windy day. I went too a bunch of greenhouses and too all the stores that sold plants in fort smith ark today. I bought 3 six packs of impatiens and 2 sun impatiens the total was 23.35 Now that is kinda outrageous because I know the 2 sun impatiens cost 450 each so that is 900 so the price of those 6 packs was off the wall. I dont know how well the impatiens will do in full sun but thought I would try. I put red by the weir rock and then some white and then red with white star, I will put in a few taro later. I also have clematis starting too bloom
