What beautiful Taro! Gary is the Taro King for sure.
They look so healthy and grow so big. How often do you feed them?

It is getting so hot and dry here. I am not sure how long I am going too be able too keep the pots alive that are not setting in water. The mosquitos are so fierce now too. The dogs and I just came back in and we are tuckered out. I smell like a can of off. The Taro are looking great. so are most of the bananas. I think I have a few that dont have holes in the bottom so its not doing them any good too set in the water. I just figured that one out today. When you are laying on that lounge it makes me want too be young again and lay out in the buff and get an all over tan, the taro make my yard pretty private

Been out on my hands and knees pulling weeds. Have not been able too spray any roundup in a while and the weeds have taken over. I also got into some greenbriars on the back fence and my leg is scratched all too hell. Well its time for a nap

Enjoy your nap. I took one Saturday and I never sleep in the daytime.

I've been trying to pull a few weeds everyday here. They are blooming and I hope to get ride of as many as I can before they seed out.

You know I am not looking forward too the cold weather coming. I have so many plants that have too stay outside and freeze. I have 6 really nice pots of red dragon wing begonias that I have no room for at all. Its going too be hard letting so many things stay out. My taro are all huge this year. the problem is I bought a few more and I did not have anymore room for anymore I am so stupid some times.

Gary it is not being stupid to have things that you love around you. It is sad to let them go. I wish we both had a greenhouse to save the plants that we love. Wouldn't it be great to tinker around in all winter.

Can you keep them in the house? Dragon wings grow well inside in a partially sunny window.

I kill a ton of plants every year trying to over winter them, but I buy more every spring!
