I did get a little weed eating done but still have not sprayed the roundup yet. The dew has been so heavy this week. I did take lots of pics. I dont know the name of the first lotus its really small the redish one is The President, it has escaped its pot and has the 8 foot stock tank filled but its not planted its floating.

The taros are so lush, and I really love your begonias. Great color contrast.

Well I finally brought in the Lime tree. I was leaving it out too freeze. I was tired of it. It had scale really bad. I also left out the Oleander. We have had a couple of good frost and Ice a few times too. I walked by the lime tree and it looked so pretty and green in amongst all the dead plants I got too looking all the scale was gone and it looked really good. So I went ahead and brought it in. Maybe it will start blooming.

I surely thought I was through bringing plants in. Brought in a lot more colocasia bulbs too.
Ok a little Christmas Miracle here at my house today. I was out with the dogs and noticed a red flower blooming. There should be no red flowers blooming on 12/19/2015 in Oklahoma outside anyway. There at the bottom of a washtub of sedum it was trying so hard I had too bring it in the house. It did not come up from seed a cutting fell on the ground and it rooted.

You have a soft spot for plants like me. I brought inside a tiny little Bloody Dock plant. I thought it had died or the rabbits ate it. So I potted it up and it is growing pretty well.

Yeah but nancy it has gone through so much from limbs broken off a plant thrown on the ground too die and then root and survive through so many freezes where all of its relatives I have frozen and died. How could I leave it out.

I would have done the same. I wish we both had a greenhouse. Nothing huge, but big enough.

Well I went out and looked at the taro in the stream again. Its all still alive. I pulled one more chunk out and hurt my back. Barely made it back too the house. This is a shame all of this has too die. Some will winter over in the water but not if my pump freezes. I am going too leave it running this year. I used too all the time. if you look close you will see that the impatiens are still alive too

Well I made breakfast this morning at 1pm yeah I know a little late on that but I was not hungry. I have been up a while but have no Idea what time it was. I know I drank a coke and got in the hottub and when I got out I dried off and started doing things online. well I know Kala woke me up three or four times and I was surprised I was still on the same page I was an hour ago.lol This sleep apnea is for the birds. Well I forgot too turn the burner off so the house is full of grease smoke right now. I took the dogs out and started looking at my pots. My Poor empty Pots. well I did notice that my sedum looks pretty good. I am in love with Sedum makinoi 'Ogon' - Japanese Golden Sedum it has a round leaf not mossy type. I also love Tokyo Sun which is the lime green moss type. I will probably fill most of my pots with sedums and Autumn Joy. I would like to find different varieties of sedum so if you see any neat stuff let me know.
