Yeah the red canna is in the pots. They will not winter over in the pots. I will have too try and put them in the ground or dry the tubers out come fall.

I have been working my butt off. Trying too get all the vines off the house and putting in a step rail. JE Henry built these steps many years ago and they are a bit steep. I have fell on them a few times but now that I am older. I think I might need a hand hold. So I started building one. I also had some Rocks over at Mom and Dads house that I wanted too bring too mine. Lynn Carter and I maybe when we were in our teens or early 20's found these near the river below the ****. We just backed dads old 64 GMC up too them and some how we loaded them. I had too get my neighbor too bring his front end loader too move them for me. I could not even turn one over. I dont know how we did it.lol They used too be pretty and white but they have been covered up in the shade for too long. The one by itself at the Pagoda on the right is the color they used too be. I am glad they can be seen again and I get too enjoy them. Debbie got Mom the Welcome rock once for Mothers Day and it was buried in leaves so I just went ahead and brought it on over too. I think the steps look better not covered in greenbriars and other vines. Yeah those are last years Pine Needles I am using for mulch. This years have not started falling yet. Poor boys have poor ways, lol I decided the pics I posted did not show how but those 2 rocks are so added a few more pics.. JE is who I bought the house from he was Lynn Carters Step dad. He was good too her and her brothers he treated them like his own kids.
p.s. I must explain the rock in the 5th and 6th pictures its not what it looks like its a core sample I found when I was a kid when we moved the big rocks I found it again.lol
This has been a stormy, windy, rainy and sunny day here in Gore Oklahoma. The wind blew a few of my plants around but I dont think it hurt anything but maybe a few cannas. They might be ok time will tell. I had too go out with the dogs a few times and took my camera. Those big tall lotus are really tall and there is no soil in that stock tank but they are about 7 foot tall.
I moved these 2 pots last Thursday and hurt myself again. I need too start asking for help. Anyway the Colocasia were crowding them out in the troughs. So I pulled them out. I put in some chicken manure in the pots today with them and maybe if I did not burn them up they will grow big. These are some of the ones I divided.
Storm really laid over 3 pots if Colocasia and tried too turn over one of them and those pots are very very heavy, Diamond Head, Maui Magic and Aloha. messed up a little of my Blue Hawaii and completely covered my pot of Tropical Storm, Left a pretty good gap I am hoping they stand back up on there own,
It also took down 2 foot thick maybe better dead pine over at dads. Glad that happened without tearing anything up, I will wait till fall too clean it up too many snakes and ticks, Greenhouse top held up though and I dont know how but it blew down my bils heavy ladder that was leaning on the south side it should not have been able too move it. MAYBE more storms heading this way,
