      Is wintering the water lettuce, parrot's feather, etc... the same procedure as water hyacinths?

      I am not real found of water lettuce. But I do have some that rooted in a taro pot and I left it rooted there and brought it in. My parrots feather is outside. I have floated it in an aquarium before for the winter. And potting some parrots feather might not be a bad idea and bring it inside. I think it would grow stronger that way.

      Mine don't really smell at all. When I top the water up there is a slight smell sometimes but it dissipates quickly.
