HELP raccoon cut fishes mouth open

Long story short a raccoon was able to make his way to the pond and got a hold on 2 of my smaller koi. He also ripped my 13 inch kois mouth open. There's no blood but the koi's sucker lips is ripped pretty bad. I cant get any pics now but the koi seems to be doing just fine. Will the mouth grow back again? because my main concern is that the koi wont be able to eat

Try to see if there is a local koi group in your area that may be able to come out and look at the koi. (google koi club with your city/state). Pictures would be a great help, especially to see if it needs some type of surgery.

Make sure the water is in good condition. (ammonia, nitrIte, pH, KH)

Do you have a quarantine set up? It might need to be moved to one to heal better, especially with the cooler temps coming up. You have to look out for secondary infections setting in (bacterial and fungal).

Hoping for the best, a health advisor should chime in soon.

Can't really tell w/out pics. Good water will help it heal, depends on how bad its torn on how it heals
