      Question Post your 30"+ fish

      I'm curious as to how many people here have a 30" plus fish
      Please post pictures and details



      I would start , but my largest fish is only about 17"

      The big orange gin UPF was 31'' last fall when we moved her in for the winter, I doubt that she exceeded it this summer. The kohaku is coming close but not sure if she hit 30'' this season or not will know in a couple of weeks when we move them in.

      the simplest explanation is usually the correct one......... Occams razor....

      This may be a stupid question but do your big Koi actually eat less than smaller ones ??? I have an honest 24" fish that just casually eats at his leasure as all the smaller fish boil the water. He's fat ,healthy and still growing but definately eats less than some fish half his size........

      My largest were in the 25+- prior to the mud pond treatment a few months back, I doubt they grew a ton but I will know in a few weeks how they did and if the mud pond was a good idea,
      I want to see some lunkers, start posting some pics people
