I am so happy the bed of Taro and canna that were planted next to the house all made it. The bed of cannas and taro and the hardy banana grove made except for the 2 different dark Taro they did not make it but I do have some of each in pots. All of the purple heart is coming back too, I am not sure about the Lantanas but not going to replace them at all they did not do enough to warrant the expense of replacing them. I will stick to vinca for hot spots of color this year.

That is so great! Maybe the dark Taro will still come up. Will you plant your African Mask outside?

So far my lantana isn't coming back which is odd since we had such a mild winter My purple heart is up, and also my cannas. My taro in the whiskey barrel is sprouting up

I have had mine inside for two years. I may move it outside this summer, in the shade.

All of these plants have made you happy. I wouldn't consider that a waste of time and money. You have such a great eye for creating beauty. I loved looking through this thread. Your containers and the prettiest I have ever seen! I look forward to seeing all of your plants again this year too.

You got to spend your time and money on something .
Might as well be on something you can enjoy every day and watch it grow .

Seeing the lotus were beautiful. My tubers I left in the pots have been under ice and snow for
weeks. Something tells me they might not come back next spring.

As I remember it was hard for you to keep up watering all of the pots last year anyway. Store the empty pots away. Enjoy your huge variety of taro and your other perennials that come back this year.

And we want pics, lots of pics.

Thanks first thing I have too do is get fit enough too climb that **** ladder and repair what is left of the shade cloth. Last year I tried impatiens in the stream and I guess the Oklahoma sun is too harsh on them. I know you dont have a shade cloth over your pond and yours are beautiful. I will really miss having my stream pretty like yours is.
