Sorry for the video quality...I didn't have my hi-def camera with me so I had to use my old one which doesn't like to stay focused

The filter is 36" x 12" x 16" tall and holds just under 2 cubic feet of Cermedia equaling about 208,000 sq ft of surface area.
      Attachment 402628

The water distribution manifold is 38" x 14" x 9" tall and is capable of flowing well over 6000 gph if pump fed, but this application will be gravity fed, and will easily handle 4000 gph.
      Attachment 402629

The back of the filter has two 2" inlets set at a 45 degree angle so connections are easily made.
      Attachment 402630

The water distribution manifold is held in place by 10-32 SS machine screws so assembly/dis-assembly is very simple.
      Attachment 402631

We are a custom design and manufacturer so anything is pretty much possible. If there is a custom design you want let me know and I will see what I can do!

Can the Zakki Showers be placed one on top of another to save space? Is the container strong enough to support another one which is filled with your ceramic media together with running water?

Just received 200 liters of Crystal Bio today, now I really wish I could buy a Zakki Shower here in Denmark....
Guess I have to make one myself.
Beside I need it to be as a triangle, so it can be placed I a corner.
But still, them Zakkies are nice.

I've been looking at the Zakki Shower for a while.
My pond is 2400 gallons with 1800 - 2000 gallon per hour filter flow. The pond is raised with a full UV cover so no run off or rainfall makes it way into the pond, and sunlight is filtered. I have nine koi with two about 18 - 20", and the rest around 12". The water temp high was usually around 87* this summer with a drop of about 5* at night, and two lbs of food lasts me 2 1/2 weeks. I'm not looking for extreme growth, and they work on the carpet algae.
What size shower would you recommend, and how do you clean them?

You can stack them, but you will need to build a support table to handle the weight of the top shower. The bottom shower would probably be strong enough to support another shower on top, but I will not stand behind that kind of an install.

If you need any help figuring out this filtration system install please shoot me an e-mail with pictures so we can discuss it more thoroughly.

Hey Zac, would you be able to sell me two Zakki shower manifolds as standalone units? I plan on integrating them into a waterfall feature in a pond I am planning, and as such will not need the shower bases.

It's gonna be at least a year before I need them as the new pond and house are still 1s and 0s on an architect's computer at this time. Let me know if you can help me out.

      Thanks,
      Ken

Cheers Zac. I will be in touch.

I'll update my build thread when I get more info from my architect and professional engineer as to whether my plans are kosher.
As this will be a build intertwined with the house foundations, the local building authority will want to eyeball it a fair bit closer than my last one.

      Hi Zac,

Am I right in thinking that the Lantern would be more than sufficient to filter a 2600 Imperial gallon pond?
I've got 2 gallons of MP2C-c in use in my existing setup - would I be able to transfer it?
What pre-filtration do you use for the Lantern?
Of course the big question, can you ship to the UK and how much would it be?

      Many thanks

      Simon Webb
