Well, right now I believe it is roughly 5:20 or 6:20am on Saturday in Tokyo. The judging has been completed (Friday) but the results won't be announced until the doors open to the public later this morning. Give the guy a break. He had an extremely long day and needs his beauty rest and some breakfast to recharge those batteries. I can't wait to see his posts either, but like everything else in this hobby, patience is paramount!

I judged the 65 BU size group which includes all of the Koi from 60cm up to 65cm. Male and female Koi are judged separately.

How'd you do? Did you see a lot of people slapping their foreheads after they saw your vote?

wow... that kohaku is real nice. I'd love to see in person.

It does look like there is some secondary beni/blush... Or is it the picture?

We spoke with Masaru Hosokai and he said that they are getting a lot of snow. Last year, when I was there, they had 2 meters(6 feet), this year they have 4 meters (12 feet)
