Russ, do the fish go home if they are not sold? Seems I heard something about if a fish leaves some of the farms it can not come back?

Yes, they all go back, the show isn't for selling the Koi and most of the Koi being displayed are owned by hobbiests that have the breeders keep and grow them. many of the hobbyists live in other countries and can not show these Koi unless they leave them with the breeders.

Excellent thread Russ. Thanks for the great coverage!

The last time I was in Asia, the Starbucks there didn't have all the same syrups to make my concoction

I just go for straight coffee but the coffee they brew here is amazingly strong compared to the US.

This morning we went out to one of the Tosai green houses to take a look at small Koi. We got a small preview of what's to come later on this year.

Bummer, I lost my internet connection for over two hours. I am hoping I can keep this going. In the greenhouse next to the Tosai house is where Mr. Sakai keeps a lot of his small, high quality Nisai.
