      At this point I have no way of taking good pictures and may not for a while. I'll have to figure out something after they arrive in the US. They all will grow big, parents are over 1 meter, and they are fairly evenly matched in quality.

      Russell, may I ask which one you favor the most out of the Dainichi showas you picked up? Both the 4 expensive tosai as well as the group buy?

      After we left finished at Marusei Koi farm Masaru took us to get set up with a loaner digital camera. Once we were set he took us to a breeder that does Hirenaga Koi. These are longfin.

      he has many varieties of longfins. Kohaku, Sanke, Showa, Goromo, Budo Goromo, Kujaku, Goshiki, Shusui, Ochiba, Hariwake and a few others.

      LF are not my thing, but... How are the quality of these LF? Once adults, will these be the shorter or longer finned versions?

      Hwe also had a couple of thousand Ogons but most were not longfins. We decided to order the longfins.
