I'm truly a sucker for an eye catching pattern...

Once I get this little guy/girl settled in nicely I'll get it fattened up and some pics when it's not so out of sorts from travel.

    Here's the auction pic...
I'm impressed that even after being boxed and shipped it's red/blk is still so dark.

Nice find. Look's like a Tommy fish, is it?
Are you also getting any grow-outs from Steve?

Yes, it's a tommy fish... I'm busted. LOL

And yes, I'll be getting some growout wakin from Steve, even though the ones I wanted have already been sold. I'll have to choose again I guess.

    Hi Paul!

Our two wakin have ended up a golden orange with a whiter fade. It was neat to see the color "morph" over time. They started black, then went calico. I love the red ones!

I have 5 Wakin now.1 orange and black, 1 solid snow white, 1 blue/black, and 1 red/white/black calico. But I also have 7 Watonai now and like them even better. I'm not going to do the growout because I'm not home enough. It's enough just having the daughter take care of pond things while I am gone.

Nope..That's not right. I have 6 Wakin. Forgot about the big guy that is constantly changing colors. Now mostly white with a little bit of Goth Black.
