you note no editing... when we crop our photos does it appear as if we have done other editing?

Editing was referring to not doing touch ups enhancing the photo!

Just confirming. I know you can "read" the photos to see that editing has been done. I dont know HOW you do that or what it tells you- hence my clarification.

      =D

      Thank you Susan.

Is there an age restriction? Can I enter my fry? They haven't been in my possession for a year though, they are not that old.

      Maybe a special fry category?

The possession requirement is only for vendors family membersor employees

Size 1 is everything smaller than 8 inches. I think that would include fry.

Will there be a top view goldfish section or is it all sideview? I have two tosakin tailed butterfly moors and they're definitely not too special from the side cause they hold their tails completely flat, but definitely noticable from the top.

We will go over this suggestion at our next committee meeting and let you know...need to find out if the new program will handle it.

Are you asking for two sets of photos, one for measuring and one for judging? Goldies cant be measured accurately the way you suggest if they are free swimming. If you put the ruler at the front of the tank and the fish is swimming at the back it will appear smaller than it really is and the opposite if you put the ruler at the back the the fish is at the front.
For those that don't know; Goldies are either under 3" or over 3" measured NOT INCLUDING tail.

No, I mean some goldfish are designed to be viewed from the top. Measuring isn't an issue. But a tosakin viewed from the side isn't very impressive where one see from above is really awesome.

I wasnt responding to you Billy..... read the entry rule. But, IF there are classes for top view fish, I believe they should be judged top view as you do.

No, one picture will do but make sure you measure to make sure if it's over or under the 3" The measuring device doesn't nee to be included in the picture since it would distract from the fish on judging.

Yes, you will be allowed to submit a top and side view of the goldfish if you like.
