Welcome to Koiphen Lugs. Do you have any pictures of your pond and fish? We love pictures!
Welcome to Koiphen! :cheer:
I think we had a couple from South Africa here but haven't seen them around for a long time...
so we're glad you're here!
Kohaku are pretty common here, but retailers are probably more likely to carry what they
can sell, so if you got a supplier, let them know what you're looking for and if they get enough
requests maybe you'll change their minds!
Good luck!
Hello Lugs
I have a good friend from Fish Hook (unsure of spelling) and saying hello and having a chat with other SA has rubbed off on me, so hello, how goes it ?
Welcome to Koiphen Lugs. We are glad you are here. :yahoo:
There has been a Koi Show in South Africa for years with many well known hobbyists. Kohaku should be rather easy to obtain if you know where to look. You might try a Google search for koi clubs in SA and see what comes up. From there you should be able to contact a member or someone who can lead in the right direction.
I went to a SA koi show once and loved it! I haven't been able to find out where and when it happens tho. Id love to find out about it so I can get more quality koi. And do anyone know any koi clubs in SA??? I want to learn as much as I can nd hopefully become a pro koi breeder
