After checking water quality and watching them closely for a week or so I decided I most likely had a fluke problem so I ordered prazi to have on hand just in case the problem got... After checking water quality and watching them closely for a week or so I decided I most likely had a fluke problem so I ordered prazi to have on hand just in case the problem got worse as the water warmed.

Well last week our short spring left us and summer arrived and the water temp went into the 80's. On Thursday my channel cat suddenly developed bright red ulcers around his gills and on top of his head,my chagoi had milky looking skin and was spending time just sitting on the bottom although he still came up to eat, and two of my gar had pale patches on them. Amazing how quickly the problem worsened.

So thursday night I treated with prazi. I think I guessed right because by Saturday all the fish were looking and acting normal. So today I did a second dose of prazi just to be sure.

I turned off the uv per the instructions and also turned off my protein skimmer because it will pull the prazi out. I was there when he bought it for 160.00 as a tosai about 10" i keep some of his koi before that had not grown in years keep it for a summer and went from 14" to 19", so maybe this one can do the same

I had some minnows left over from fishing trip , put them in pond about 1 year ago . about 1" in size . now there about 5" and I can see about 5 dont know how many .. I bought this cheap minnow trap and enlarged the openings . I could net them but It would stress out the koi chasing them . I think this will work ,I will then rehome to the river...

How do I (or can I) set one of these up to run to my computer, and to stream live onto the internet so that I can watch it remotely on my iPad?

I wouldn't mind specific, but easy to understand details, like brand names (links to sites), exactly what cables, software, hosting websites (iCam?), etc. I would need to set it all up, if anyone knows how.

I have come across all the many sites on how to DIY a cheap webcam into a waterproof container to throw in the pond and plug into the computer, but the picture quality is very poor, and I'd like something better and am willing to spend a few hundred $$. But I'm lost in the forest on how to do it.

I could wait it out, but I'm not that patient.
Had the UV hooked up but the bulb must have burned out, so finally replaced the bulb yesterday.
Looking forward to watching the water clear and see all my fish again, other than when they come up to eat, lol.

He had her in a 20x14 straight walls 8' deep pond! I made my pond larger for my 3 koi yesterday. I traded him my Chagoi + cash for this beauty. She did not look that big in his set up, LOL. He was surprised at her size once caught, BUT we had already agreed on price. :D: Said she came from Marusei originally. The fukurin is really nice and should get better with age? Though, this picture not so great, taking at 10:30 at night. He had a collection of koi that was mind blowing to say the least.

She already eats out my hand, one big lover! :yes:
